Lovely book, set out into important events and also not only the major events of the war itself but also what went on back home also. Not as many illustrations as I expected as bought for my nephew who is not a very confident reader but we will enjoy looking at and reading the book together!

This is an absolutely fabulous book, extremely easy for kids to understand. The pictures are great, and ours has been read from cover to cover many times.

My son was doing a class project covering various decades of the 20th century and his assigned decade was 1940's. This book was perfect for covering the details on second world war and he found it really useful. I would also say that I found it really informative and would recommend this to anyone.

This is a great product well written and easy to understand, our Grandson is doing a project on the second world war in Junior school and this has been most helpful for him.
