I purchased this for my two-year old Granddaughter to last her through the years. I wanted something where the illustrations wouldn't scare her at bed-time. The book hits the mark beautifully. It has loads of fairy tales and yet is small enough to handle while you hold your child on you lap to read. She loved the pictures and will, I know, understand the well-written tales soon. She runs to choose this book at bed-time from a heap of others in her room. So - Grandma got it right! Thank you - a brilliant book.

This is a lovely book with a modern take/twist on traditional fairy stories from around the world. Amusing illustrations and stories are just the right lenghth for bed time. I like this and now I want to buy others in the series.
