I bought this book as i was interested in finding out more about the greek myths. I was concerned at first that, as it is a childrens book, it would be too basic. I need not have been worried - the book is a joy to read for adults as well. It is very informative, nicley laid out and very easy to read. It is quite a large book with a lovely cover.

Beautifully illustrated with lovely flowing language that is a delight to read aloud. My 7 & 5 year olds loved these timeless stories with a fine balance of monster fighting and love stories which appeal to boys and girls equally. Great also for any adult wishing to explore these myths in an accessible fashion. Comes with top recommendation and I will be purchasing more as gifts.

I ordered this book for my sister as a Christmas present. Upon receiving it I almost feel the need to order another for myself. It has beautiful pictures and provides the stories of the Greek gods. Where they came from and how they are related and other such things.
