Now the police are on her trail, and she avails herself of the services of a couple who make a profession of hiding wanted criminals. At the hideout, she meets Simon, a second-generation mobster. As the police close in, Françoise and Simon go on the run together, pulling off occasional heists for operating money. modern Bonnie and Clyde,

À nous deux is essentially a modern day Bonnie and Clyde, and the film is actually referrenced in the film. The plot details are somewhat complicated due to the slightly unclear opening of the film. Other than that, it is an absorbing film. The acting is brilliantly executed particularly by Deneuve, who goes without make-up on for much of the film, and pulls it off. It sees a man and a woman accidentally thrown together and on the run from the police. Love of course develops between them, though there are obstacles. It begins almost as a gangster film, but doesnt follow the genre completely, leaving the viewer unsure as to what is going to happen, leaving them absorbed. This edition, the Claude Lelouch edition, had a choice between german dub, or original french with english subtitles (the german dub does not have subtitles). The sibtitles are in white, and there are no extras on the DVD. However, considering how hard it is to get a copy of this film, I did not mind doing without. I would recommend this film, for the cast, the acting and the story. Quality film!
