Ice T did a fantastic job in XXX 2 but in this, he, and the other rappers are dreadful. I got it in a charity shop thinking it might be a good black gangster thriller but it wasn't.
There is little in the way of plot, no sense of menace, pathetic violence for most of it, no horror, lame effects, mediocre rap -- whoever wrote the cover blurb should be done under the Trade Descriptions Act.
It's worth watching as an oddity and in a strange way I got quite drawn into it -- not because I was enjoying it but mainly because I was trying so hard to make any sense of it. In its overlit black and white it just comes across as a really bad amateur shot-on-video effort, which seems like little more than a vehicle for Ice T's rap but it even fails on that front. At least its short.
Save your money -- don't bother with it.
