A great chicken book for anyone wanting to keep hens,

Ive had my own chickens for over a year and ive got a few books and only brought this one recently but this one is by far the best one I have as it covers everything you need to know. As a new owner to chickens no one tells you what is normal and what isnt and like having a baby any little sneeze or cough and you go into panic mode I just wish I had this book when I first got my girls.

Really great, informative, easy bit sized chunks to read, excellent advice and feel able to look after my new chickens really well. Wld have thought also suitable for keen older children to read too (well maybe not the neck wringing bit!) but really is well written and suitable for a variety of new urban (well garden) chicken farmers. It was recommended to me and it wasn't wasted. Glad to have read it.

This book is a really good starting book for anyone considering keeping chickens in an urban setting. It's quite comprehensive and the information is provided in an easily accessible way.
