Will has certainly captured the essence of the scottish terrier. Anyone who has ever owned or even ever known a scottie will recognise their beloved Scot in this book, also themselves and their battle for supremacy, as loser of course.
Many hilarious incidents, Will Cohu has certainly got into the stubborn but intelligent mind of Parker his best friend and made him live for his readers.

A charming book for all dog lovers, especially those that are wild for Terriers, Scotties in particular. The authors observations on his dog Parker, are truly summed up on the back of the dust jacket where he says:
'His true character is in his breeding...He's a terrier...he likes to shake socks to death...has a short concentrtion span...a stubborn nature...and
NEVER GIVES UP ON A GOOD SNIFF!
This book is based on the weekly column written by Will Cohu in The Daily Telegraph of London. It tells of Parker and Wills adjustment to life in the City, having moved from the peace and tranquility they shared in the countryside. A whole new life style emerges with new friends both human and canine. An excellent Read!

A wonderful book - Parker is a true star!! I would recommend this book to anyone who is lucky enough to own a Scottie dog and an especially good read for anyone contemplating a Scottie puppy! Will Cohu's style of writing is witty, true to life and infectiously humerous. This is one book you will not be able to put down from the moment you open the first page. Long live Parker - a true Scot, with attitude!!
