About the Author
Lynne Langley was born in Blackpool and has lived most of her life in the seaside town, currently employed by a large retail chain. Lynne's past careers includes such diverse roles as painter and decorator, prison officer, garden centre manager and dog warden. 'The Ups and Downs of Middle Age' is Lynne's first book, with much of the inspiration coming from her experiences of juggling full time jobs with the demands of three (now grown up) children. Lynne still lives near Blackpool, with her partner, two cats and a yellow mini cooper.
