This is an excellent book that covers all aspects of PC History, Upgrading and Repair, I have purchased this book for several years and is invaluable for any person serious about the workings of their computer.
It is a big book and absolutely worth the money, also the included DVD covers many video tutorials
The book also includes a code to access the Scott Mueller forum, worth the price of the book on it's own. Scott personally replies to the posts on that forum providing immediate access to an expert, indeed many of the forum members are Computer people themselves.
The book is fully up to date including information on the latest S1156 processor but also goes back to cover the very first Processors.
You won't be disappointed :)
