Scott Mueller has done it again - brilliant, thorough and well presented publication delivering to the reader an overview or in-depth study of the why, where, when, how and what of computers. Sure there are other books offering varing levels of insight, this does the lot in a way easily digestible without having to undertake a Phd in computer science. I bought the 8th edition way back in 1997 (a lifetime ago in computer terms!) this 16th edition is vastly improved indeed offering actual video footage of key computing issues including a fabulously useful video tutorial on scratch building a computer system. This is industry standard stuff for the pro - and great for the enthusiast.
