5.0 out of 5 stars Change Our Faults 15 Jun. 2014
By Steve R - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Rickey is a college student who has recently gotten his computer fixed by a computer expert named Francis. Rickey also likes Alice, but feels he has no chance. But that's when his computer takes an odd turn and fixes all his faults, improving his curve ball, giving him better looks.

Soon, his confidence skyrockets and Alice seems to take notice of him. But towards the second half of the story, it takes another turn as there is more to the strange phenomenon than just a lucky coincidence.

I found the story to be imaginative and thoughtful, a meditation on our self-image and who we think we should become. I highly recommend this story.

1.0 out of 5 stars first draft? 3 Jan. 2015
By Amazon Customer - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This reads like a first draft and leaves a lot open to question .
while the concept is interesting the execution leaves a lot to be desired. There are run on sentences, overly clumsy dialogue, and at one point, it is very hard to work out which character is speaking. The plot is also very difficult to understand, as is the resolution.

A good effort, and a good attempt to make us question what being human means. But it needs more work.
