At last this most underated band's third album gets a release.... a mere 4 years after it was created!!! The tale of this Album is nearly as turbulant as the story of the Band itself..... David Reilly and Jeff Turzo's (probably) final Album as GLU was finished in 2000, but when the Internet bubble burst, Riffage.com which owned there record label went under, and this formidable Album was lost to the world.... until now.
Not as Experimental as there 2nd Album (Life in the so-called space age) but every track is amazingly strong, with great production.. taking GLU's unique take on the 'Great song with Electro-Rock backing' to a more commercial level.. Surely with good publicity this Album would have taken the duo to chart success. As it is 'God gifted' Vocalist (Both writing and performance) David Reilly had to fight his demons, and battle huge addictions until recently. And Jeff Turzo had to use his Classic and unique sound and talents on other artists releases.... no where near as deserving as a GLU album IMHO.
Checkout David reilly's recent solo works at: www.davidreillymusic.com , and keep your eyes open for Jeff's new band... once called Wired all Wrong. It's too much to dream that these guys may work again someday.... but it doesn't stop me wishing.
