Non East 17 fans should give this a shot! Bobby brown style r'n'b mixes with drum n bass, nice souly ballads ('Do You Still' is a lovely track with an even better version on the greatest hits) ... their harmonies and vocals were goood!! Probably only cost you a quid so give it a crack! I'm not really a pop fan!

seagull salad, 9 Feb 2009
By R. Jennings "Ronald the bass caterpillar" (wendesbury) - See all my reviews.
Gary Barlow's attention for pop running over Brian Harvey's head in a Merc genius is inevitable on this album, recording innovations are commonplace in his works. Yes, the air 6 inches higher up does allow Gary to get more gangsta with the wheel spinning theFk on top of Harvey's big freaky square chav head, during the middle of this album. this makes the vocals sound crisper and more natural, but did the Take That boys really have to wheel spin on that idiots skull for 3 weeks?

since 1991 ive loved east17 and they never let me down. every album is great and lived up to their great standards. up all night has got some great songs written by the boys themselves, which shows they do have alot of talent. even now years later this album sounds great.

Just Amazing 4 Dec 2002

How can this album not be good? It is East 17! Perhaps not AS good as the album 'Steam', but still a startling listen. With the hits 'thunder', 'someone to love' and some outstanding album tracks you will not regret to buy this. Best Days is my favourite song. And you will much love to this album wont you?

See the talents of each band member, Excellent 29 July 2000
By tim marshall - Published on Amazon.com

East 17, i consider that band to be a tool of fate, the fate of the four single musicians who now exist, Tony, the main writer on the other albums, now solo , Brian the lead singer, now solo ,Terry the background vocalist/dancer/rapper , currently touring europe doing DJing, and John, singer, dancer, background vocalist, each of the guys wrote a few songs on this album.. it shows how different they all were, for example, try listening to any of the songs, followed by "Its All Over" by Tony, any fool who trys to label East 17 as a pop band will be convinced otherwise after hearing this excellent description of what can happen when an otherwise good person is pushed to far, and the references to the Beast from revelations in the bible plus the Arcangel Michael and his army of angels.. so cool...
This is the best East 17 CD you will ever listen to! 11 Oct 1999
