What went wrong? 30 Mar 2010

Excellent summary of what went wrong in recent times in Finance.If our "experts" had stuck to many of these simple, pithy rules, laws etc. we would not be in the mess we're in now.
A good guide for the future and an excellent example of the American "KISS" approach (Keep It Simple Stupid).

I'd never expected a book on finance tips to make me chortle - but then again, I'd never expected a book on investing to quote (very pertinently) Mae West and AA Milne either! I picked up "Unwritten Laws" to skim through - and found myself engrossed. I'm delighted that the "unwritten laws" have now been written down - and in such a fresh, witty and entertaining way. From WC Fields to Einstein ...

Well done Mr Robert Cole. At long last a financial bible for the people. Instructive and a truly great jargon zapper. It would pay more than a few in the vast financial services industry to grab a copy (and read and learn from it) as soon as they can.
