Among and within songs, Korn move seamlessly and dynamically from gentle, spooky and lushly melodic to a bass-heavy propulsive, explosive musicality that boasts a death-metal intensity. "Embrace" is almost grandiose and Cult-like in its rock drama, in contrast to the punky, straight-up "Wake Up Hate", in which Davis' vocals are especially creepy and Marilyn Manson-like as he rants: "I'm, I'm filthy / Wasted piece of shit / I am disgusting / Take me away". Untouchables, with its brutal introspection and hints of misogyny, is sure to earn its parental-advisory sticker. But the album is still a must-have 62 minutes of deeply felt, ultra-intense spewings, a tour de force sure to strike a chord with fans and critics alike. --Katherine Turman

Here To stay - The album kicks off in classic style with a brilliant heavy riff and vintage Davis vocals. One of the high points and an obvious choice for ist single. 4/5
Make Believe - by far the poorest song on the album, confusing and plain irrtating, what were they thinking?? 1/5
Blame - Fantastic with an odd sort of 80's vibe (is that just me?) 4/5
Hollow Life - Sets the tempo for much of the rest of the album, dark and precise. 3/5
Bottled up inside - Good heavy riff, unimaginative rythm to the lyrics. 3/5
Thoughtless - Great song with a soaring chorus, sheer brilliance.
4/5
Hating - Very catchy but bizzarely subdued, I think it would have been better suited near the end of the album. Love the lyrics tho 4/5
One more time - Good not great, korn by numbers 3/5
Alone I break - Sheer musical brilliance, full of despair and hopelessness with an irresistable tune. 5/5
Embrace - ahhh very mosh worthy, class 4/5
Beat it upright - Erm good tune but S&M theme may nto be to every taste :) 3/5
Wake up hate - time to go mental kiddies, Heaviest song on the album, bit repettitive 4/5
I'm hiding - Brilliant song with a fantastic feeling of isolation 4/5
No one's there - Good album closer but not one of the album's highlights 3/5
Here to Stay= Absolutely brilliant song, great start to the album, very heavy. It grows on you constantly and seems better every time you listen to it. Great chorus. 10/10
Make Believe= This is definitely one of the poorer songs on the album, with unncessesary swearing (Yes I know it's rock, but it's unimaginative.) The pre-chorus is OK. 6/10
Blame= Blame is a great song that makes up for Make Believe completely. I don't like the "Tell me from your heart, tearing me apart" bit, but the chorus is really catchy and I love the drum parts that they previously used in songs like "Freak on a Leash" 9/10
Hollow Life= With a kind of Exorcist feel to it, I love this song especially the chorus. Quite a slow verse, but the chorus speeds up and the very simple guitar chords in the verse make you feel chilly down the spine... 9/10
Bottled Up Inside= This took me a while to get used to, with the verse not up to the quality of the previous 2 songs, but the pre-chorus and chorus making up for it. In the chorus it sounds like somebody "gargling" in the background?! 8/10
Thoughtless= This song was the reason I brought the album. The best song on the album with "Alone I Break". The chorus is absolutely brilliant and the beat is slightly slower. A really, really good song. 10/10
Hating= The intro to this is one of the catchiest pieces of rock I've ever heard, but then the verse and pre chorus kind of spoil it, BUT the chorus is absolutely brilliance. 8/10
One More Time= Not as catchy as some of the tunes on the album, but still a good song. I like the verse, but the chorus is even better. 8/10
Alone I Break= Holy s**t this is good. The chorus and the verse are amazing. The strings are used brilliantly. Is it me or does the fast part seem kinda folk music-like? Listen to it! 10/1O
Embrace= I'm not to keen on this, it isn't as well put together as some of the other songs, though it is extremely heavy. 7/10
Beat it Upright= A better song than Embrace, though still a song that can be skipped as it's nothing special. 7.5/10
Wake Up Hate= I like this. Though a bit thrown together, the fast beat is very good. 8.5/10
No One's There= An average end to the album. 7.5/10
Overall, I just have to say this. GET IT!
