There are two reasons why Girls Aloud are still around after six years - they are genuinely talented singers and they have extremely talented songwriters. There's a third reason too - they always stay on the right side of being modern and relevant. Untouchable proves the point perfectly. It's a fast and breezy pop/dance track with a great chorus. I think it's possibly the best homegrown pop song of the year.
I'm not generally a fan of the dreaded vocoder, and the Girls certainly don't need it to sound good, but it works very well on this version of the track. Overall, the song is extremely uplifting and you'll be glad you bought it.
