Up Until Now...30 songs to celebrate 30 years of the finest band of the eighties. Hugely underrated, Bucks Fizz could sing, harmonise and they were simply awesome live. Bucks Fizz actually sold fifteen million records and they had three number one singles, so it is quite sad that people only really think of Making Your Mind Up (included here as a fantastic remix) or The Land of Make Believe when they think of Bucks Fizz. Songs such as When we were Young, You and Your Heart So Blue and Rules of the Game demonstrate their vocal abilities and versatility. There are some remixes included here which is nice for the fans and for people who enjoy alternative versions of songs...I can recommend The Ultimate Anthology
The Ultimate Anthology or The very best of Bucks Fizz
The Very Best Of Bucks Fizzfor people who wish to listen to the songs in their "pure" form. But, as ever, Kevin Newell and Dean Murphy keep production standards high and so the remixes are of fabulous quality.
Bucks Fizz are national treasures but if you think they only did a couple of fluffy pop songs, buy this album and listen with an open mind. The vocals and original production were amazing.
And in response to someone else's review comment that Bucks Fizz should get back into the recording studio, I am delighted and excited that The Original Bucks Fizz are rcording again and will be releasing their first studio album in 25 years this summer. It will be called Fame and Fortune so do watch out for it.
