This was my first Emma Wildes book. I was disappointed. There are two stories along similar lines. I thought that the descriptions of the hot scenes were somewhat repetetive and boring. The only good thing was the feel of the times and the wild scenery. A woman's life was dull and secondary to that of the rough tough men. The writing felt simplistic as if the author is new to it whereas I know that she has written several books. Sadly I have decided that I will not be spending any more on EW's books.

Emma Wildes is a wonderful Author and this is just one of her wonderful books. This book has two great love stories. So, if you want to read about a tall, hot sexy cowboy finding true love, than this is the book for you. These are two separate Westerns, the second story does crossover some secondary characters from the first story are in the story starting halfway thru, but I won't give details of the story, but to say they both have great endings and definitely a must read.
