4.0 out of 5 stars Nothing like KoRn 28 Jan 2004
Format:Audio CD
Adema are a really good band in their own right. I find them better than Linkin park, who are way too watered down and mainstream. They get a lot of stick for being KoRn with melodies but I think thats unfair. This album is full of good rock songs. Call it nu-metal if you want, but don't hold that against them.

3.0 out of 5 stars the good the bad and the average. 5 Mar 2007
Format:Audio CD
Ok, nothing here is dreadful but a couple of the songs are almost cringe worthy lyrically. Co dependent is straight forward adema, solid nu metal. As is first (only) single and title track unstable. The highlight of the album is Promises. Album closer needles is by far the heaviest track present, intense and angry. Stand up is one of the lyrical offenders, the idea behind the song is okay and musically iit's not bad but some of the lyrics are dreadful "this relationship is whack!" for example. Rip the heart also has some dodgy lines. However get past the first few songs which are pretty standard nu metal, and the band start to show a tender side, some good some nearly great. Then we get to stressin out which isn't bad but suffders from being nu metal by numbers. What the album seems to lack is the passion/vitriol of thier debut. It is a shame as they had so much potential with Mark Chavez on vocals, even though he only did the debut and this with them.

Format:Audio CD
Not too many people will have heard of Adema here in the UK, yet this is their second album. And it's brilliant!
Stand-out tracks include: Rip The Heart Out Of Me, Unstable, Blame Me, So Fortunate, Stressin` Out, Betrayed Me and Needles.

4.0 out of 5 stars Adema - Ustable 30 Aug 2003
By Jennie
Format:Audio CD
Having not heard a lot of material by Adema i didnt know what to expect when i bought the album as i had only heard one song, which was the released single Unstable, which I liked a lot.
A few of the songs on the album sound quite similar but after having heard them more than once or twice you recognise each song has its own character.
The sound is quite heavy and i say if you enjoy music such as Finch or Linkin Park you would probably enjoy this type of heavy metal.

4.0 out of 5 stars ADEMA, so whats new? 11 Aug 2003
Format:Audio CD
ADEMA fans the album is out on the 19th of august! If anyone has heard the older album, Unstable is not radically experimental. Some tracks tend to have the same type of pattern and feel as the old ones, but thats not a bad thing. If it has the same magic as the last album, Unstable is bound to be just as big a hit. With Marks deep and meaningful lyrics, enriched by the awsome guitars, bass and drums Unstable is another catchey album, and is one anyone can sing along too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Adema - Unstable, cut it some slack 2 Jan 2005
Format:Audio CD
They sound nothing like KoRn as some people seem to think, i personally think their better.
Unstable is their 2nd album, people might have heard adema when they released "Giving In" off their 1st self titled album, or when they did the soundtrack to "Mortal Kombat - Deadly Alliance"
Unstable is a very good album that shows a heavy side and also a softer side on the song "promises", and i cannot fault the band at any points on this album
HOWEVER, their 1st self titled album "Adema" is a better album, in my opinion anyway, althought this album does not disapoint
Thnx For Reading

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent! 20 Aug 2003
By Nik
Format:Audio CD
As usual Adema have managed to put a well thought out, deep and meaningful album together. If you liked the self titled first album and the EP Insomniacs Dream, you will love Unstable. The lead track and those such as Co-dependent and Blame Me are outstanding. Purchase this album, I certainly recommend it.
