Product Description

Law enforcements, both local and federal, estimate that there are between 35 and 50 serial killers on the loose and active in the United States alone. Some even put the number closer in the hundreds. In any case, officials anticipate these numbers to continue rising. Knowing that there is someone stalking the streets that you live on, looking for victims, is very scary.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality 25 Dec 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I found this book to be very poor in the way it was written and the contents of the stories. Far too short and not much information given on any of the crimes mentioned.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting despite the self promotion 23 Sep 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
An interesting book detailing crimes I've not heard of before. However the last 15% of the book is promotional material for the authors other works which while is interesting to see I didn't want a book full of prologues a list of other works would have been sufficient.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, but lacking in structure 23 Dec 2011
By Cheryl M-M TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
First of all it needs an editor it is full of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and misused words. Aside from that the author has compiled quite a few facts, which seem to be from newspaper articles and websites. If you are writing a non fiction book it is advisable to reference your sources. I would have liked to have seen more info on each persona/case or even a few more details about the victims. All in all it is a good idea, but not very well executed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful on so many levels 15 May 2012
By N Jones
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As this ebook was only 77p, I guess I got what I paid for. But I have bought many better books for similar prices so that does not appease my disappointment with this book.

Firstly there is very little about "unsolved serial killings", as half of the book is just padding, information about profiling and how killers can be caught etc. Then when you get to the unsolved serial killings, you are given very little information. There were a few "crimes" that I had never heard about so was interested in finding a bit more about them but to say I was disappointed was an understatement. It was as though the author was teasing you with information but there was so much left unsaid and uncovered. I read it all the way to the end hoping there would be more but I was out of luck, very disappointing!

I was also put off by the amount of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and misused words.

1.0 out of 5 stars No substance! 1 April 2012
By Julie D
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Having read many books on true crime I was beginning to find many books repetitive so I was really looking forward to reading this book. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Yes, the author mentions serial killers I have never heard of but writes the shortest synopsis I have ever read on each one, I actually felt robbed. There was so much left unsaid and uncovered, I can only describe it as like reading a tiny blurb on each case. I kept thinking there has to be more to come but no, no such luck. Zero substance and very disappointing!
