I don't consider myself a quitter on a book once in further than the first 50 pages.
However, I did on this one some time back and have not returned.
This book seemed a little unexciting. Providing a few assumptions and opinions but
rarely anything riveting. I am not a golf fan, but will watch a few matchplay rounds
on TV now and again. Like many, I wanted an objective opinion about Tiger from someone
who claimed to know quite a bit about him. For an 'Insider' this is too sanitised and
at arms length for my taste.
I heard the author promoting the book on a Saturday radio show while laid low with a
chest infection. As I needed something interesting to read, I downloaded it and started
reading immediately. I think I was too hasty to make the purchase, as there were few
reviews with any depth to consult.
I will return to the book soon and if it grabs my interest, I will certainly improve
my rating of it and give the writer credit where it is due. For now, I don't like it,
as I found it rather bland.
