5.0 out of 5 stars The Bonzos Refreshingly Brilliant 30 Aug 2012
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Wow! What an album of live recordings that the Bonzos delivered for the John Peel Show. Brilliant editions of the items recorded on a few of the Bonzps few studio albums.
One track made me think of some of the jingles used by Kenny Everet in his shows, both on TV and Radio and the track I am thinking about is: 'THE CRAIG TORSO SHOW' makes me wonder if Kenny was inspired by it, either way it is zany and so is the rest of the album.
In particular is their mickey-take on John & Yoko's, 'GIVE PEACE A CHANCE' becoming very tongue in cheek 'GIVE BOOZE A CHANCE'
Glad I have it in my BONZO collection...
