I purchased this book as we wanted some unbiased, insider knowledge about where to go and what to do in Las Vegas. It is well written and actually quite entertaining to read. It contains detailed reviews of all the major restaurants, buffets, hotels and also production shows, giving tips about the best times to go, best places to sit etc. We used it to choose places to eat, pick out the sights not to be missed and also to choose a show - it was accurate for all of them and contains lots of other useful info you wouldn't otherwise find out. It also gives an overview of sights outside of Vegas (e.g. Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Grand Canyon) which was useful for us. There are no photographs, so if you like to have a look at where you're going beforehand this probably isn't for you. It is also quite a thick book, not one you'd want to carry round in your handbag. Overall I'd highly recommend the book, it has more than enough information for anyone planning a trip to Vegas.

I looked through loads of books before purchasing this one, we're off to Vegas on Honeymoon and it has so many handy tips rather than just sell sell sell! Would throughly recommend this book to anyone looking for the practical info on Vegas like how much and when to tip, travel options, reviews of the shows and hotels.

If you are going to Las Vegas you need this book! There are reviews for everything and we'll be takng the book with us for reference whilst we're there. It is spot on.
