5.0 out of 5 stars racism in the nhs, 9 July 2003

its an eye opener and horrifying to know that management can go to such an extent to get rid of someone when they are discriminating against some body. I hope this book will be seen as a positve step to improve the working relationships with ethenic minorities. Its very well written and my praise goes to the author for her courage to fight the system.

5.0 out of 5 stars racism in the NHS, 5 July 2003
By
jane smith (Liverpool. U.K) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Unnamed (Paperback)
I have read this book twice and it was difficult to come to terms with the reality of the events taking place in the Health Service. My friends and colleagues read it and identify themselves with it as they had similar experience at their workplace. Racial discrimination is still taking place but this book raises your awareness and encourages you to ask questions. Highly reccommended for medical staff, nurses and managers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent commentary on racism in National health service, 12 Jun 2002
This review is from: Unnamed (Paperback)
This book is an eye-opener.It spells out the racism as practised blatantly in the National Health Service. It speaks volume about the inefficient running of our medical services.
Its a must for all medical and para medic personnels and others who are endeavouring to improve the current state of our NH service ,including our politicians both in government and opposition.
