Big button phone 13 Feb 2010
By Mrs A
It is nearly impossible to find a similar phone on the high street, so great finding one on Amazon. I wanted one for my mother who has failing eyesight, for when she goes out. She is 88 and has no concept of how to use a mobile.
My main critisium of the phone was the main instructions and set up is in chinese, however once I got someone to change the settings to english it was easy and simple to use. I typed out in large letters how to use the phone for my mother and she can now manage to make a phone call. There is an alarm button on it, again very good for mum, and also a torch, so over all an excellant phone especially for the elderly and partially sighted. I would definately recommend this phone but you will need someone to sort it out first if you are not familiar with mobile phones.

I bought this for my Dad - he loved it and he's a complete novis for anything technical. Big buttons and simple to use. Seting up contacts etc was a little tricky so I had to do this in advance of giving it to him. The SOS button is a fantastic idea and works great. It also looks modern so not an embarrassment to him!

bigbutton phone 15 Mar 2010
this phone is light, relatively small and does what is required.

the only real downside is that the handbook is in chinese and the small abridged english version is error strewn and seems to refer to a different phone altogether

julius who handles queries is charming and helpful but I do feel that some correct notes in english would really make the product more attractive and user friendly

also the first charger was very flimsy and only lasted a short time but julius provided a replacement very promptly

Good idea, badly executed...wait for upgrade
The actual phone keypad is excellent. The downside is
it is impossible to charge, hence you end up with a useless,
nigh cheap wafer of plastic. Read more

Not this best
Would not recomment this item. Instructions are useless. The only thing it its favour was that I had no problem obtaining a refund.
