'...a must for anyone wishing to explore a more harmonious relation-ship with their horse...' Classical Riding Club

Product Description

Richard Maxwell follows up his successful Understanding Your Horse and From Birth to Backing titles by developing here a structured three stage training approach which can take as little as 20 minutes a day. This practical approach will help you to find the best in your horse, improving your relationship with him on the ground and in the saddle. The expert authors explain how anyone can learn to 'speak' equine body language so that owners can really 'talk' to their horses. Finally they concentrate on how to continue a greater level of communication from the saddle, in order to improve your riding and the way your horse responds.

A must have book 18 Nov 2009
Format:Paperback
I bought this book after buying a new horse who although lovely natured, is quite pushy nd opinionated. I also thought it would be worthwhile to try out the techniques to ensure our bond was strong. THis book is easy to read, not all flowery like some books and gives really helpful techniques and advice. I have learned a lot and got such a lot of out of it and would highly recommend it.

I already have Robert Maxwell's other book, Train Your Young Horse which I followed and to good effect on my four year old cob.

I love his approach and attitude towards his 'pupils'. The book is really easy to follow and very pictorial. His stuff really does work and I would recommend any of his books to either a complete beginner or someone looking for a different approach. Better still no clickers mentioned anywhere!
