About the Author

David Alston has been a Christian since 1984 and decided to write this book after realising how few people really grasped what it meant to be “laid hold of by God” and the profound far reaching consequences for good that can ensue when men and women pursue God’s highest purpose for their lives, to become disciples of Jesus Christ in the truest sense of the word. He runs the website www.godsbigplanforyourlife.com and edits the Newsletter it sends to people all over the world. In addition, the author regularly holds webinars at the website on topics that help Christians experience wholeness in spirit, soul and body as well as fulfill their calling in God.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Book Everyone Should Read 30 May 2012
By Ms P
A beautifully easy read of a book. The book opens up key issues of understanding who you are, why you are here and the direction your life should take. In our society of drip feeding how we should feel and think and what we should buy - we become caught up in a life which is not really our life and become a person who we are not really. This book makes you think and look and question. In these latter years of austerity many people have already looked more at their lives realising that they had been sidelined and manouvered to a place they really shouldn't have been.

Sometimes it's good whether or not you are a believer to grab hold of a book like this, because it makes you think, it makes you look and it takes you to the core of who you are. I think every person will be able to take something away from this book, I certainly did.

The book is an insight into a life, a very interesting life of love and belief. It's the heart of the book, and it oozes a passion many of us can only dream about. You will find pure goodness of spirit, soul and body in here, and the ability to deal with situations in a powerful manner of prayer.

Sometimes you just don't realise how good life really is, read this book and be enlightened. Enjoy.....
