This is the same album as Danny the Dog.

Danny the Dog is the Hong Kong (English) name for the film. Unleashed is the American name for the film. I found this out when listening to the cd thinking, "I've heard this before". Looking online I found that the film was rebranded and I already had the soundtrack to Danny the Dog....

Great music nonetheless.

I owned this under its original guise as "Danny The Dog" and was really disappointed. It was an eclectic array of disjointed snippets and sound bites and lacked any cohesion or underlying theme. I own every other MA album and cherish them all. 100th Window took a while to get into my head but once it was in I rate it as my favourite MA album. I gave this album an equal amount of time but just got really bored and ended up changing the music. In the end I consigned Danny The Dog to eBay and got my money back and to be honest I don't miss it. I found this a thoroughly underwhelming album and would rather listen to Lionel Bart's Oliver soundtrack.

I agree with nearly all the other reviewers here - this is a FANTASTIC album.

However, I would like to clear something up: This IS the same as the "Danny the Dog" soundtrack. In fact, they are the same movie, too. It was release in the UK as "Danny the Dog", but will be released stateside under the "Unleashed" moniker. In the localization process, they found that the name "Danny the Dog" wasn't "tough" enough.

So, if you already own the Danny the Dog soundtrack, pass this up. But if you have neither, buy this. I've you love Massive Attack, this will not disappoint.

If you have Danny the Dog, you shouldn't buy this cd, It the same music under a diffrent Tittle, Unleashed has an extra song.

The end title song for the movie is an unreleased track called Aftersun that is available from www.dotallison.com under the media link as an MP4 file. A truly beautiful song that should have been on the OST CD.
