Full of good ideas 28 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is packed with good ideas about how to organise your time, stop procrastinating, and just start a creative project. Each of the chapters is self-contained, and practical. The book is well-written in an easy to read style. I am enjoying dipping into it when I need some inspiration. Relevant to everyone who wishes to do something a bit differently, not only for the hopeful artists.

Buyer Beware! 25 Feb 2007
By Mir Zeeshan Mahmud - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Mea culpa. It's entirely my fault that I bought this book. I should have spent five minutes in Barnes and Nobles at least flipping through the pages of the book instead of my impulse getting the better of me. This book is filled with nothing but water with sub-common sense ideas. Consider of the "brilliant" ideas mentioned in the book: #47 Use Google. Excuse me?! Did I need to buy a book to figure this out? I mean isn't that all of us doing on a daily basis? That's like same as saying telling someone to use the dictionary and charging 18 dollars for it! Sometimes it's better to buy a book based on the cover. I mean how boring can this cover be...and the images inside the book are even worse. And lastly, if creativity is what this book is after shouldn't the author at least use it gain reputation for themselves using the very methods that they preach and making this book a top seller. Well, my main purpose of buying this book was to get something like Cracking Creativity. And if you are looking for a really good book on this subject get A Whack on the Side of the Head instead. It boggles my mind how many of us have such difficulty in getting our book published with our heads teeming with creative ideas yet these two easily got the job done by touting out common sense "ideas."

Boring, common sense tips 23 Feb 2012
By A. Bain - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Thank goodness this book was free, because I would have been mad if I had paid the regular $5 for it. It's boring, the "Brilliant" ideas are things like "search the internet". I don't recommend this book.
