Format: Paperback
An outstanding book by one of the outstanding legal scholars of his generation. "Introduction to the Law of Restitution" was one of the two books which oversaw the birth of this are of law in England. This is the book which commemorates its successful transition into adulthood. It is a fascinating book written with obvious enthusiasm, grace, style and honesty. While it is a matter of great regret that the author will not be able to contribute more, that feeling should be displaced by immense gratitude for the enormous progress the law has made under Birks' provocative tutelage.

I really needed this book, but did not want to buy an original, since there will be no future editions. This second-hand option was just what I needed.
