Product Description

Sort it Out! Junior is the kids version of the award-winning Sort it Out! board game with questions designed especially for ages 8 and up. Can you sort these animals by the number of adult teeth they have in a full set—a dog, an elephant, a human and a pig? How about sorting these things by how fast they can go—a swimming swordfish, air in a sneeze, a running cheetah and a Porsche car? In Sort it Out! Junior, finding out the correct order is just as much fun as getting it right.

How to Play
The winner is the first player to reach the finish spot on the board by knowing the biggest, fastest, loudest, earliest, smallest and longest of everything, or just being a lucky guesser. Place a topic card in the middle of the table and all players answer the question at the same time by placing their four coloured smile dots in the correct order on their plastic holder (see example question image). Some questions involve the players getting on their feet and lining themselves up in the correct order too. When it's time to see the answer you don't just get the correct order, we back it up with some educational facts too (did you know a cheetah can run up to 75mph but only in short bursts?). For each answer you get in the correct place on your plastic dot holder, you get to move one space on the board and some squares even give you double points. Families and friends will laugh, learn and sort each other out.

We liked this game but unless you are up on American culture, where most of the questions lean, this can be more of a guessing game as being British some of the thing we had no idea what they were.

I do wish that it had mentioned that the questions are mostly geared towards America in the write up about the game, we would have probably bought a different game. That aside, we did learn a few things from the non american type questions.

The principal of the game is good, and my 10 year old neice loved it. However, some of the questions are very americanised, to the point where we had to shelve some of the questions (questions about the ages of actors we'd never heard of because the shows don't air in the UK; baseball league questions etc). The makers of the game should make a UK version, then it would be fantastic!

Easy game to play. All the family can join in and under 8's really understand the questions. It also has the advantage of not going on for too long.

I bought this game to use in a primary school with children having extra help with reading. The idea of ranking things by size, weight, speed etc is good and I enjoy using it with the children, but the plastic holders and buttons are unnecessary, so we just use the cards. As a one-to-one game a third of the cards don't work as they involve ranking the players.

Great game. Bought for Christmas. Kids have played this over and over again, even popular with adults. Love this game.
