Let me start out by saying that I have read almost all of Michael Essany's WWE related work published in the e-book format. On the positive side, he does have a way of capturing his own obvious interest in the subject matter as well as generating interest for the reader.
On the negative side, please notice that these are _short_. You're basically buying a magazine article. Second and, in my eyes, unforgivable, is the fact that they contain larges sections of 'cut and paste' material from his other e-books which, as an estimate, bring the amount of unique (not used elsewhere) content down to about 30% on each one.
As an example of this 'cut and paste' self plagarism, in the middle of his book on Randy Orton, you'll find yourself reading a disconnected section about the Undertaker and his Wrestlemania streak which is repeated verbatium in at least two of Essany's other books.
Speaking in general, most also contain far too many spelling/gramatical errors than are acceptable for a published work. As I mentioned, they're _short_ would a bit more editing have been too much trouble?
