I purchased this item last week after having lost my original tom tom holder which kept on dropping off the window. I wasn't expecting much with this one to be honest but it is fab! It sticks to the window really well and does the job so much better than the original. I thought that the tom tom might fall out of the holder as it wasn't that secure but I was mistaken and it holds in really well.
A really good purcahse for the money as a replacement tom tom holder would have set me back £20.

This was bought as a replacement for my broken original bracket.
It's well constructed all be it a bit chunky looking and my wide-screen sat-nav fits into it perfectly.
The unit has two lugs on the bottom which the sat-nav sits onto with a
spring loaded lug on the top, which hold my sat nav securely enough on there own
there are sliding bracket on either side as well for extra security.
All of the brackets can be adjusted to avoid charging sockets etc.
Another reviewer said that it was in the way of his charging lead, but it's
the most adjustable thing in the world, you can slide all of the lugs around to avoid
most parts of the unit.
The suction mount works well as long as you press it firmly onto the windscreen
with one hand and lock it in place with the other one. I cant seem to make it stick
properly with just one hand when I'm driving, probably a good thing though !
All in all a very good replacement unit for very little money

Amazon Verified Purchase
Purchased to replace a damaged RAC 2000 mount.Does not adjust to fully enclose the sat nav but does however hold it very securely from the top and bottom. A useful spare as it appears to be clearly universal.A fairly chunky bit of kit but pleased with it.
