    I purchased this product as it was the only one I could find that charged AA, AAA and PP3 (square batteries). I have to admit, I was also attracted by the really low cost(it's even cheaper now than when I bought it!) and in hindsight I realise I should have spent more to get better quality. Unfortunately, I used to have a charger I purchased a few years ago that was brilliant, as it automatically stopped charging batteries when they were fully charged and the light changed from red to green. I lost this one and needed a replacement. This product did not do anything like my previous one and the length of time given to charge the batteries was very long (13 hours for a AAA battery) and no indication that if you weren't around to turn it off at the right time, whether it would continue to charge. I was concerned that this might be dangerous. More importantly, none of the batteries I have charged seem to have enough charge to power anything and in particular remote controls. Tried to contact the company three times via the form on Amazon, but they never bothered to reply. Their policy states that products can be returned within 30 days, but as I couldn't contact them I was reluctant to return without authorisation. Very disappointed.
