Kathryn Spink's "The Life and Vision of Brother Roger of Taize" is an in-depth account of the life and thought of the founder of Taize. It is mainly the product of a searching (but very sympathetic) interview with him; supplemented with an epilogue dealing with later developments including his tragic death. Although well written and informative, the style and wording can get a little tedious and dry in parts. It would benefit from more chapter divisions. However, it is worth buying to learn of the life and inspiration of a remarkable Christian with an unshakeable ecumenical vision.
