The Universal Carina is a superb choice for anyone looking for their first bike. Easy to ride and simple to maintain makes this model a good all-rounder. Whether you plan to stick to the roads and parks, or whizz through the off-road trails, this value for money cycle can do it all!
Bought this bike for my wife as a birthday present. I'd recently bought a mountain bike myself which I'd had to build on arrival. The bike from Universal was actually easier to build than my own! The build quality of the bike was actually better than I expected in view of the price! The packaging was excellent. So was the delivery guy! He actually moved it to where I needed to build it! All-in-all I'd have to rate this purchase as Superb and recommend it easily to others!
Received the bike within a couple of days. The bike looks fantastic value for the money and it is. The problem we had with this bike is that although it is a solid frame the bits that are attched are attached are a bit cheap and nasty. The chain snapped after about one hours of riding time. The gears are over compicated for a ten year old and this may have had something to do with the chain breaking. I took the chain to Halfords and they said it was not a good enough chain for the gearing system. However overall a good product for the money
The bike was reasonably easy to put together although the front wheel release was a bit tricky and the instructions not clear. Apart from that it's a pretty good bike for the price.
