This books is very much a sequel to Fuse's "Multi-dimensional Transformations". If you enjoyed that book then you'll definitely want to get this one. It's a rather short book at only 96 pages long, but the production quality is lovely. There are lots of colour photos of the models, diagrams are well laid out and the overall design is modern and clear. There is some repetition of models and ideas from "Multi-dimensional Transformations" but then we get into all new material. Models range from about 30+ units to over 120 and are graded from 1 to 3 stars. If you like unit origami, get this book.

This proved to be an excellent buy. I have had it for a few weeks now and I can't stop making beautiful modular paper models. The book is of high quality, with lots of colour photographs of the finished models (useful for the colour schemes) and step by step extremely clear diagrams. Models range from the easy to the hard, but the harder models don't present greater difficulty in my opinion, they just require lots more patience (you know what I mean if you try out one of the 120 pieces models). So the book is really suitable even for a beginner/intermediate provided you have tons of patience.

On the negative side: the book is rather short (96 pages) and perhaps there isn't such a great variety of difficult models, but there is enough to allow you exploration of your own models (particularly if you have an knowledge of uniform polyhedra).

If you love origami this will guarantee hours of fun.

Great Photos 23 Jan 2007
By M. Mukerji - Published on Amazon.com
This is a beautifully presented book with wonderful models and photos. But a lot of the units are repeats if you already own Fuse's all time best book Unit Origami - Multidimensional Transforms. About a third of the book is materials from her Unit Origami book. Additionally there are a few beautiful dodecahedra and several other units. Overall it is a must-have if you are a modular origami lover.

Extraordinary 15 Jan 2007
By Yorch - Published on Amazon.com
Really, I believe this is one of Tomoko Fuse best books I've ever seen. Great pictures fully and well explained, English is not my native language but it results pretty easy to understand it.

The book's design is so cool, I just can't wait to do any of the projects inside... I encourage every one who like Origami to buy it.

Even, each project it's labeled with a difficulty level category starting at one star to three stars. But all the proyects are so well explained that if you have a little folding experience you will find easy to build them.

Required reading for modular folders 30 Sep 2007

If you're into making geometric solids then this book is a necessary compendium. You must own this!

I especially enjoyed the linked cubes-- the structures are quite solid and well put-together.
