I can't tell the difference between this and the camera's original battery. I regularly get 400 to 500 shots and usually end up charging the battery before its exhausted. It even has gold plated contacts. I wouldn't trust any unknown brand in my E3 having had lithium batteries deform and swell in the past on other devices.

Uniross VB104295 Digital Camera Battery to fit Olympus BLMI
This product offers such good value. I have not noticed any difference between the Uniross and the Olympus batteries for my E-3 or my wife's E-510.

My Olympus E510 came with the standard Olympus battery (BLM1), which is great but expensive. I don't like to travel without a spare charged camera battery, so I was looking for a reliable substitute. I have been using this one for ages and it hasn't let me down once. It holds charge very well when not in use in the camera, and will run the camera for weeks (I am not a heavy user of the camera though).
