Sort of OK... 7 Nov 2010
By Finchy
I bought the case to hold a spare set of batteries for my light for when I go mountain biking. The product holds AAA batteries snugly although the AAs rattle around inside (this won't be a problem if you are say a photographer but I recon it will be annoying on the bike). Also, with AAs, the clip that secures the case doesn't locate too well so a slight tap and it springs open releasing the batteries - if simply for storage in a draw this wouldn't be an issue but if intended for storage during transport I think it would pop open (I have rectified this problem with an elastic band). Finally, the little indicator on the lid, which I think in practice is a good idea, is useless as there is nothing holding the clip in place so simply rotating the case makes the switch slide from side to side. Can you grumble for the price? Maybe check out one of the cheaper ones first...

This Uniross Battery Case is of quite good quality and solidly made. Compact and can be used to store and protect either your alkaline and rechargeable AA or AAA batteries batteries in it.

The case is divided into interior compartments and clicks shut to eliminate all risk of damage or short circuiting, enabling you to store your batteries safely over long periods. Batteries that are not stored in adequate conditions can lose their charge rapidly. The Uniross battery case has an indicator on the top cover that you can use to note if the rechargeable batteries are charged or not.

As previous reviews mention too about the red switch indicator, it does happen to be loose enough to slide back with slightest movement. But still don't be put off by this small thing, its not a big issue as the main purpose is to store batteries in a safe secure manner. Like this battery case that I bought two of them, due to its robust built quality! :)>

No batt indicator 8 Sep 2008

nice little case but don't mistake where is says it has a battery indicator for anything more than a little plastic switch that you slide across when you know that the batteries are either full or empty. I thought that it was an indicator that could tell you the current charge in the batteries when I bought this item
