Well I've been using these in Smoke alarms and Window alarms and they've done an excellent job so far.

With normal Ni-Mh batteries, these alarms would function fine for about 9 months, before that infamous smoke alarm beep to tell you the battery is low, or the window alarms not sounding when you bash 'em.

I first purchased 3 of these batteries in February 2008 and are still going strong to date. I've never actually charged them -- they come charged and stay charged!

these are great batteries, it came pre-charged but run out of charge pretty quickly..but after charging it myself it has lasted for ages so am happy and glad i purchased this, although i find the postage extremely steep/extortion i will be ordering more as its a good product.

i used them with the same brand charger,

works for me

Originally 9v rechargeable batteries were actually only about 8.2v when charged but these new batteries are a full 9v so are able to operate most PP3 based equipment.
