Just finished Tim Gilberts excellent book - Uniform Kilo. As a pilot I found the book informative, and very funny in places...tim seems to be the master of understatement in tricky situations!. Having travelled alot myself I thought the book was inspiring not just for helicopter pilots but anyone with a sense for adventure and the world in general. Great Read Tim! You planning any more trips??

Good read for people planning a crazy trip that they want justification for! Wouldn't recommend for anyone that isn't a pilot as the content isn't thrilling. Very impressed by the "story" but not sure whether it was a good use of time/money?

A great fast paced read from start to finish. Eye opening for pilots, and a great read for anyone interested in travel and adventure. You've got me thinking....

Uniform Kilo is a thrilling read which gives a real insight in Tim and Martin's epic adventure, with a glimpse of the logistics involved to undertake such a feat. Read more
