UNICYCLE Unicyling is all about balance. If your sense of balance is more finely tuned
than your sense of self-preservation, then this is for you. Don't buy this if you are scared
of a challange, cos challanging it is. Unicycling is not easy , but riding a bike without
stabilizers for the first wasn't easy too. Like they say once you've learnt you never forget.

This has been one of the best things I've purchased this year. My 11yr old son has mild dyslexia severe dyslexia and AND he also has poor self esteem and lacks confidence in his abilities. So when he came home from school beaming from ear to ear (a first I can tell you) having participated in a circus skills event and successfully learnt to ride a unicycle (the only child able to do it in the whole school) there was no way I was going to let this go. So I ordered this one having looked at other reviews and hey presto it arrived within 2 days and my son has ridden it daily. He is one very happy boy and I'm a very proud mum.
The quality of the unicycle seems very good, robust . A fantastic purchase.

Very well made seems very study, fast delivery. Bought for my son who is 10 years. With practice in the garden he has picked up the balance very well. We browsed a few models, didn't want anything too large, this an ideal size for a beginner child or adult. Very pleased, went for the blue finish.

TIPS TO GET STARTED

Get two friends to stand on either side of you and get up on the unicycle with your arms around their shoulders.

Sit up straight; look straight ahead; weight on seat, not on pedals. Rock the pedals to get a sense of balance. Get the pedals level; this is when you are in control.

Pedal half turns then stop. Then full turns, two turns, etc. Doing multiples of half turns (from pedals level to pedals level again) is harder than continuously pedaling, but keeps you in control.

Switch to holding on to your friends' wrists.

Switch to holding on to one friend's wrist.

Go off and use a wall instead of your one friend. (If you can't find a wall and a flat surface to ride on then continue with one friend, but let go as much as you can. )

Steps 1-5 should not take more than an hour (perhaps in 10 minute sessions). The thing I liked about learning this way is that you will never hurt yourself in the process.

For some people, the get on, fall off do-it-yourself cycle works best. It's a matter of personality!

The unicycle is top quality with a really sturdy frame and snazzy red frame with a yellow and green striped wheel. The seat is fully adjustable and can go from 29 1/2 inch to 34 inch. The seat is fully padded and shaped for comfort.

Easily assembled , this well manufactured unicycle is an excellent introduction to unicycling. My 9 year old son is progressing well after watching some training videos online.

It would be too big for younger children.

Grandad bought this for our son as he as asked for one from been very little! Finally got one and showed very little interest in it (as is the norm!) although now its summer and we have just moved house it as reared its head and son and all his friends are having a bash (extra insurance perhaps needed!!) Quite sturdy (until the inevitable happens!!!) But all in all worth the money spent.
