Unibond Anti Mould Sealant Bathroom & Kitchen White Cartridge is an anti mould silicone sealant with excellent qualities of adhesion and durability in an ice white formula with a long lasting seal.
Ideal for sealing many interior applications including showers, baths, toilets, power showers, wet rooms, sinks, basins, worktops, tiled areas and fixing sealant strips.
The product contains a fungicide that resists mould for a long lasting finish. The 'mould protection system' provides a lifetime guarantee.
For use with a standard cartridge gun. Before starting, make sure that the surface to seal must be completely clean and dry. For neat results use masking tape in both sides of the joint to seal. (remove this after smoothing the sealant)
1- Remove the red cap and cut off the cartridge tip at desired bead diameter. The cut must be in a 45º angle.
2- Insert the cartridge in the cartridge gun. Place the nozzle at the start of the gap to seal, in a 30º angle. Squeeze the gun trigger with a forward movement, Ensure to apply an even pressure.
3- Smooth sealant with a wet round end toll (5 minutes wait). Remove excess with white spirit.
4- Protect from water until the sealant is dry .
5- Seal the nozzle to re-use the cartridge

Top product for the job. Some care required for the application.
For smoothing off bead, I use just a little washup liquid to help.
Problem with original delivery, But,replacement immediate, no quibble!

This review is for the sake of others like me, who have limited experience. Experts, please feel free to laugh.
I've only used cheap sealants before, and I naïvely assumed that this would be just a little bit better. How wrong I was. There's no comparison.
1) It's really sticky. Don't get it on your hands or you'll spend the rest of the day trying to get it off.
2) It says "evolves acetic acid during cure". Too right it does. I was expecting a faint smell, but this is proper vinegar-up-your-nose stuff. Adequate ventilation is a must.
3) It starts to set straight away. Good luck clearing up the mess if you're as sloppy with it as I am. You can't just wipe it away like the cheap stuff. The instructions say to use white spirit; heed that.
I cannot mark it down for any of these, as my problems were entirely down to my expectations. It's really good stuff; I just wish I'd realised how good before I started, so I would have been better prepared.
NB. The "25 year guarantee" is just a marketing gimmick. All they're offering to do is replace the product, which isn't a lot of use when a broken seal round the shower has flooded the kitchen.

This product used to claim a thirty year life but that seems to have vanished. Anti-mould for a couple of years.
It is sometimes hard to find in DIY outlets but is cheaper in Screwfix.
