We have a large rug on wooden floor that used to slide all over the floor when our dog or nephew would run up and down the living room. We tried some sheets that were designed to stop rugs sliding but they were not as good as this tape. Since we used the tape, the rug has not moved one bit, but we have managed to lift the rug and seen that the tape has made no damage to the flooring. Very highly recommended

I bought this item based on the 1st review as it said it is easily removed from the floor, however when I had to lift if it was stuck to the floor and I now have mark were the tape has been, but it did hold my rug in place!

Bought this to try & hold a new rug to a wood floor, put strips accross all corners and a couple of bits down the rug sides- that was over 2 months ago & the rug hasnt moved at all - despite 2 cats flinging themselves around all over it. Have tried other brandsa in the past and they werent very effective - so far very impressed.
