Escape the Fate's newest album, Ungrateful, has been greatly anticipated for many months, but after all this time, is it actually worth buying? Well 'Ungrateful', the first song on the album kicks it off nicely with an adrenaline pumping speed and fast fury, arguably some of the heaviest music Escape the Fate have done to date. 'Until We Die' is more typical of something from 'This War is Ours' and 'Live Fast, Die Beautiful' sounds like something from their self-titled album. They both sound like Escape the Fate should, but with enough variation to keep people interested, and attract new fans. The album goes on to 'Forget About Me', a slightly heavier song to the last two, but sounds similar to 'Ashley', and '10 Miles Wide', some of their past songs.

Unfortunately their album starts to be a lack of new content as the album goes on. It certainly doesn't become boring by any means, but something new like they did with Ungrateful would have made the album so much better. I cannot criticize the songs too much, as almost every song has got itself a special place in my heart. Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump also helped produce the album with Craig Mabbit (Lead Vocals) and while there is a certain influence in there, the whole album still stays true to Escape The Fates unique style. This is evident in 'Picture Perfect' and 'Risk it All' where there is a Fall-Out-Boy-esque rhythm, but still sounds in place on an Escape the Fate album.

When purchasing this album on Amazon.co.uk , the Deluxe edition of the album said:
Audio CD (13 May 2013)
Number of Discs: 3
Format: Deluxe Edition, Box set
Label: EMI

Unfortunately there were two mistakes that are extremely misleading.

I bought this album for my son and he loves it, personally I have not listened to it so maybe not the best one to write a review.

Great album, has a song for everyone no matter what you like. Really catchy lyrics, great riffs and Craig's vocals sound great. Totally recommend it to any fan of ETF or Craig's side project The Dead Rabbitts

Some good heavier tracks on this album, as well as a lot of radio friendly catchy items.

The extra live DVD in the version I purchased had good performances too
