I had the privilege of reading this book before it went to press. It has opened up a whole new way of approching decisions and crossroads in my life. The combination of a story and a learning is right up my street. Read and enjoy. Meghan, get writing again, I'm hungry for more!

Unfurl was both thought provoking and interesting. The story flowed really well. It is very difficult to write speech that flows and sounds realistic and it can be extremely annoying to try and read badly written conversations, in "Unfurl" the conversations and characterisations were believable - they read like real people having real interactions. The ideas and messages in the story were inspiring, some were obvious and some needed more thought and I like a book that makes me think for myself about things. All in all I would definitely recommend this book.

I wasn't sure when I started reading this book if it was a future "who moved my cheese" for women (which I'm not fond of by the way). I found the book to capture my attention and I read it in 2 days (which is short for me). It used word pictures really well along with a good story to keep you captivated and wanting to remain on the journey with the character. There were many places in the book that I could relate to and it had me pausing and pondering about myself. The "roots" section made me tear up. I think the book had some good depth in places but the ending was a bit light (just after "roots" until the end) and I found that disappointing. A few days later though and I'm wishing I was still reading about a journey of lessons, and I'm finding that I'm asking myself regularly "what am I hungry for." I enjoyed the book.

I read the script a few years ago and could not put it down. Meg has an amazing way with words and metaphors. A great book if you are interested in self discovery and personal growth with a touch of magic. As someone who struggles with emotional eating I had many aha moments reading this. But this is not a self-help book, it's a very well written story about a journey that many will recognize. I look forward to getting my proper book version now.

Every woman should be the heroine of their own story 1 May 2014
By Jen Everitt - Published on Amazon.com

I was intrigued at the opportunity to read this given the introduction into the book and not fully knowing what to expect. I had an idea that it would contain some metaphysical elements but I didn't expect the story to expand as it did. I was hooked on Melissa's character and wished to know more. In many cases I felt that it was like the Matrix meets woman determined to be "awake" in a sleeping world. This book is the perfect read for anyone trying to find themselves on a path that seems to be all tangled. The imagery is so vivid I felt that I was along the ride for visual meditations while I was reading. Recommend highly ...

this book has stayed with me and shifted my course. 23 April 2014

Meghan Genge's book is one of those rare finds that gathers the tenderest pieces of hope and wondering and brings them into the light where possibility is more than just a nice thought but a deep medicine. In the metaphors and the characters I have found some deeply moving ideas that have woken me up and helped me to lift into new ways of being in the world. I am not often moved to write reviews but I feel like tapping women in bookstores on the shoulder and telling them about this (in a non creepy way!) If you are looking for a book to shake you up lovingly then this might be it. I am buying copies for my friends and can't wait to talk to them about it.
This is one of the BEST books I have ever read 18 Oct 2014

This is one of the BEST books I have ever read. I highly recommend it for any woman on the quest for life purpose, connection with passion and authentic living. Meghan paints vivid mental scenes as she moves the reader into the heart of the story. I felt such an emotional response to the story that I hated to see it end. I might re-read it. Perhaps I'll discover something I missed before.
Worth a read but compose your own reason for the journey. 9 July 2014

a real page turner until the last couple of chapters. For some reason those chapters seemed forced; that a conclusion needed to be presented and the story/journey needed to be brought to an end.
Loved it - read it in one sitting 11 Jun 2014

This is such a creative story. It really captured me - and the vivid imagery it created has stayed with me long after putting it down. I feel like I went on the journey with the character. I loved the metaphors for the bad habits and problems we create for ourselves in our lives. The book has a real deep message woven into a lovable character's journey - it really spoke to me. I read it in one day, couldn't put it down. Hoping the author writes a sequel!
