True Love and Spiritual Healing--HIGHLY Recommended!, , 13 Oct 2007
A story steeped with enrichment, evolution, and personal growth. Michael Skowronski takes you, the reader, on a rollercoaster ride of emotions on love, loss, anger, healing, and hope. A passionate revelation that speaks volumes about life, true love, family, and friends. It has something for everyone and covers numerous topics from animal lovers and crusaders; sexual preferences and relationships; spiritual and physical healing and healers; marriage, divorce, and affairs; and spiritual and mental energies. The reader will just have to trust the reviewers of this book because to divulge every subject that is covered will still not give the reader a full understanding of the depth of knowledge, fulfillment, and spirituality that is contained within the pages of this story.
Skowronski grabs your attention because of his truthful accounts of his shortcomings, realizations, judgments, healing, and growth. His masterful storytelling does not offend the reader as he touches subjects that are taboo in society because he outright states his initial emotions, significant life altering events, and his conclusion or growth in the subject area. You never get to the point of feeling like you are being preached at by the author, but you gain insight, awareness, and appreciation of the "other side". He explains drug and alcohol addiction, enabling, and recovery; the difference between ego, self confidence, and arrogance; love, lust, and sexual needs; and self assessment and acceptance. He walks with you and draws you into his story of self-discovery, healing, and true love. You will even find insight about balancing work, the search for higher paying salaries, and having the time to do what you really enjoy.
Skowronski introduces you to many characters and aptly describes and integrates them into his book. All of his characters facilitate the telling of his story; they did not in any way detriment the progression or the relevance of their involvement. His characters strengthen his position and belief of spiritual healing, past lives, channeling, extra-sensory perception, and hypnosis. However, even if the reader does not believe in these concepts, they will be inspired by his faith, his convictions about finding and keeping love, and his knowledge and acceptance of people's faults and strengths. Skowronski's story gives the reader hope that all will be better with personal change along with the faith that everyone's destiny can be influenced so that loss will not be as painful or as negative as society perceives.
Skowronski has created a beautiful rendition of his love affair with his beloved Kathryn. He has painted a picture that has dark, bright and colorful scenes portrayed through his words and depictions. You are drawn to the desire to know how it will all end but Skowronski will not leave you with the typical fairy tale ending of HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Instead, he magically gives you hope, contentment, and joy even after life's tragedies. Skowronski's openness and honesty in coping only pulls you closer and tugs at your heartstrings. You will witness small and major miracles, poignant memories, and ideals and principles that every adult, especially young males, should strive to live by. Definitely, a love and spiritual growth story that is Unforgettable!
