Michael Skowronski is a mystic and a scientist, a healer and a software engineer and a great deal more. Michael has experienced life in the outer world on a grand scale as an adventurer and thrill-seeker. Yet it is his passion for tackling the complexities of the inner world and our relationships with others that has brought so much wisdom into his life. Michael has loved and lost, been in high demand and fired from jobs, been well respected and thoroughly humiliated, all in all he is just like everybody else…except, that Michael has been paying attention where the average person does not. Michael says, Life is training us, evolving us. These traumatic events that occur in our life can make us bitter and miserable or they can help us to become an open hearted human being who has a great deal of compassion for humanity. I have experience with both bitterness and compassion. We do have a choice. I certainly don't like how it feels to be bitter so I ultimately choose compassion. Michael is very familiar with the divinity that lives within us all, or as Michael puts it, the Divinity that We all live within. Michael has been seeking to discover the true nature of spirituality most deliberately and intensely since 1986. Michael has put into practice many different teachings of ancient masters, some he still practices today, and some techniques have been discarded along the way. These techniques do yield results. If they did not I would not waste my time with them. I have experienced many amazing miracles and profound coincidences too numerous to ignore. Best of all they give me a deep sense of self-esteem, peace of mind under all circumstances, relief from all loneliness, and an eternal source of wisdom and abundance.

A story steeped with enrichment, evolution, and personal growth. Michael Skowronski takes you, the reader, on a rollercoaster ride of emotions on love, loss, anger, healing, and hope. A passionate revelation that speaks volumes about life, true love, family, and friends. It has something for everyone and covers numerous topics from animal lovers and crusaders; sexual preferences and relationships; spiritual and physical healing and healers; marriage, divorce, and affairs; and spiritual and mental energies. The reader will just have to trust the reviewers of this book because to divulge every subject that is covered will still not give the reader a full understanding of the depth of knowledge, fulfillment, and spirituality that is contained within the pages of this story.
Skowronski grabs your attention because of his truthful accounts of his shortcomings, realizations, judgments, healing, and growth. His masterful storytelling does not offend the reader as he touches subjects that are taboo in society because he outright states his initial emotions, significant life altering events, and his conclusion or growth in the subject area. You never get to the point of feeling like you are being preached at by the author, but you gain insight, awareness, and appreciation of the "other side". He explains drug and alcohol addiction, enabling, and recovery; the difference between ego, self confidence, and arrogance; love, lust, and sexual needs; and self assessment and acceptance. He walks with you and draws you into his story of self-discovery, healing, and true love. You will even find insight about balancing work, the search for higher paying salaries, and having the time to do what you really enjoy.

Michael is a friend on my space. After reading parts of his next book, I had to read Unforgettable. It took me through the gammut of emotions. There were times that I was so angry with "Mike" that I had to stop reading for a while, then the love story with Kathryn had me cheering them both on. I felt the love and heartbreak that Michael was experiencing.
This book has helped me to know the places in my own life that need healing, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This is a beautiful book about life and growth. The author teaches much through a truly open and honest look at his self and his life and at love. 2 of my favorite quotes from the book: "To be responsible is the ability to respond in love" and "Your true point of power is in your ability to change you, not another. Yet when you gain this power of self-transformation all things around you will also change". It is a great read with many great lessons.

Every once in a while, something comes along that challenges our perceptions and helps us to see more clearly what is possible. They have taught that with an open heart and an open mind, humanity can accomplish anything. If you have been waiting for another, wait no longer. "Unforgettable," by Michael Skowronski, is just that kind of book.
Taking you on a journey from page one, Skowronski invites you along as he meets and falls in love with Kathryn, a fellow dance student at a spiritual growth center. Their connection is both intense and instantaneous. You will follow them as they navigate the rough patches that arose during the coarse of their relationship, and you will take in the time tested wisdom of the ancient spiritual masters whom they study under along the way. And you will be right by their side as together they fight straight to the end Kathryn's unexpected and emotional battle with cancer.
You will not always feel good about what you're reading. There were times thoughout the book where I found myself disliking Michael. But what endears the reader to Michael and to his story is the redemptive quality it shares with us. Drug abuse, violence, selfishness and even arrogance. It's all here, out in the open; the emotions laid raw for everyone to see. But where most would simply resign themselves to their present state, accepting it as "the way they are," Michael looks within and discovers the key that helped guide the way toward his enlightenment.
I feel that, if given the chance, this book can help you change your life. The wisdom that Skowronski finds is here for you, too. Within every chapter and every story told along the way lies a message, a teaching; True Wisdom that will most certainly better your life should you choose to accept it.
