5.0 out of 5 stars Grammar fun? 29 May 2010
By PJ's
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a brilliant book which gives some simple but effective ideas to teach French grammar. Each topic is clearly set out. Many of the ideas can be adapted (depending on your teaching style and the age group concerned) to use within the classroom. I have found it particularly useful in teaching higher KS2 pupils and have used it as a reference to introduce some of the trickier aspects of french grammar but have added my own twist to make grammar FUN. Feel this book could also be a great revision aid for KS3. Not too expensive either!

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent way to learn French! 6 May 2010
Format:Paperback
My daughters have been using this book. They have made great progress and my eldest is taking her French GCSE exams two years early!
The match of words and image is exceptional - and really helps them remember words and meanings.
Best of all - it's great fun - even I've started using it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent learning tool 2 Aug. 2012
By Maxine
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I'm now living in France and aiming to learn the language. Sadly I seem to fit the cliche that the older you get the harder it is to learn a new language. So this book has been a brilliant buy. I bought it on the strength of the reviews and it has proved to be very helpful. Very useful tips for assimilating French. In my view an excellent purchase.

I have just done my AS levels and found that Unforgettable French has been a particularly useful tool, as the memory tricks that are in the book are excellent. The book has a wide range of information which mean that all aspects of the basic language are covered. My brother is studying for his GCSE at the moment and is also finding the book a more enjoyable way to learn and revise. Maria is an amazing teacher, whose ideas are brilliant for improving french. I would thoroughly recommend the book to anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 25 Feb. 2010
Format:Paperback
A fantastic learning tool for anyone of any age, teacher or student. Maria is a brilliant teacher - her teaching was instrumental in my getting into Cambridge University to study French and Italian - and I still remember some of her memory tricks today. I couldn't recommend her work enough.
