If you think boarding schools are stuffy, boring places when you read this book your mind will be changed. I think this is the 14th book in the series and it is one of the best. It follows Rebecca Mason and her friends in the summer term. It is a summer term full of boys, sport, fun, french penfriends and those dreaded GCSE's. What will Rebecca do if she fails her exams and why is her french friend Emanuelle acting suspiciously? Well you'll just have to read this brilliant book to find out. I like it because it is easy to read and has got lots of things happening. You really feel for Rebecca when she sits her first exam and want to know what's going to happen. It is more up to date than the Enid Blyton boarding school books, you can really relate to the characters and the situations are not that unusual, therefore it's a book for older readers. Don't forget to read the other books in the series first. they are all brilliant and if you are 10 you can grow with Rebecca as you read each book. If you like school stories with a bit of mystery and romance you'll love this.
