This book is just great! It is a must read for those who have already read "The back of the Napkin". It provides a complete handson training of the very simple yet effective methodology. I use a lot of visualization techniques (i.e. mind mapping, process mapping, concept mapping) and Dan Roam's Visual Thinking Codex is a welcome complement to my toolbox. I have printed the codex on A3 paper have given it a prominent place in my office. Visual Thinking Rules. It really works and my clients love it.

It was really pleasure to read this book. It has clear and useful ideas that was described in really good and friendly manner. I'm enjoying reading it. As I understand, that book is also used for same sort of trainings, so it was nice to find a places for break, as I wasn't able to stop reading it.

This book has been as much fun to read as the books from "head first..." series.

Don't be afraid of the number of pages - most of the pages are filled with pictures, and a few fun and witty comments here and there to spice things up a little. There is also "in-depth" material, but fortunately it is well-hidden among all the interesting stuff.

After reading this book, you'll regret two things:
1. all the time you've spent on the powerpoint presentations (is all wasted now, and you know it)
2. that you don't have a tablet laptop (well, I didn't)

Very complex ideas become simple once conveyed in pictures (or with powerful pictures) - that's what this book teaches. Now the only thing I need is draw a picture, but this is a text-only field... :)
